Maintaining strong communication with a network of clients is one of the most critical and relevant activities for the finance professional. Social networking tools allow the client-focused, independent finance professional to improve and maintain contact with a vast network of people. Social networking is fast, effective, far reaching, and results are immediate.
The Social Networking phenomenon and its applications, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Blogging, are discussed in the context of the finance professional’s business workflow and the ease with which they enable all-important communication and interactive contact with clients. The strengths and business benefits of each are presented. Business protocols have changed and this course will help you, the finance professional, move to the leading edge by taking advantage of these innovative tools. During the course, we will create accounts within each of the four most prevalent social networking platforms and start to build & optimize content to establish familiarity and trust through brand recognition, for a solid business presence on the internet. We will look at examples of successful business social media accounts, including a number of blogs, and you’ll discover how each has been used to establish expertise, trust, optimized communication and brand recognition. The objective of this course is to provide finance professionals with the new and innovative tools they require for effective communication with their clients.
Participants may bring materials to class including logos, relevant photos, etc., to begin to develop actual content on the social networking sites.
